Michael H. Bronder, CPA, CFF graduated from Robert Morris College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration in 1983 and has been licensed as a Certified Public Accountant since 1986.  Mike also earned the Certified in Financial Forensics credential from the AICPA.  He is a member of both the American and Pennsylvania Institutes of Certified Public Accountants.

Mike, the president and a shareholder of Bronder & Company, has over 35 years of experience in public accounting, primarily serving construction contractors and real estate developers and managers.  Mike has extensive experience in financial reporting, income taxes, consulting, contract funds control, and litigation support.  He has served as an expert witness or consultant for plaintiffs and defendants in more than 60 cases involving misappropriation of trade secrets and other assets, construction claims, commercial contract disputes, trademark infringement, shareholder disputes, and other matters.  Mike has extensive experience in calculating damages, preparing and evaluating expert reports, assisting in the discovery process, conducting forensic accounting investigations, providing expert testimony, and participating in settlement negotiations and mediation.

Mike has frequently served as a discussion leader for the Pennsylvania Institute of CPAs and is a past chairman and current member of the PICPA's Construction Industry Thought Leadership Committee, serving as a speaker for this program on many occasions.  He has written and taught training programs for national meetings of bonding companies and has been a speaker for various trade associations, the Allegheny County Bar Association, and commercial loan officers of several banks. He is also a former member of the Board of Governors of the Contractors Association of Western Pennsylvania (CAWP).
