D. JAMES McMAHON, CPA, MBA

D. James “Jim” McMahon, CPA, MBA graduated from Saint Vincent College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance in 1988 and earned a Master of Business Administration Degree from Duquesne University in 1991.  Jim has been licensed as a Certified Public Accountant since 1995 and is a member of both the American and Pennsylvania Institutes of Certified Public Accountants.
 
Jim, a shareholder of Bronder & Company, has been with the firm for over 25 years providing exceptional audit, review, tax, and consulting services to the business community.  Jim’s industry expertise includes performing and supervising attest function engagements for construction contractors, real estate developers and managers, and not-for-profit organizations.  In addition, he has extensive experience in tax planning and compliance matters.
 
Jim has been an active member in the Pittsburgh Chapter of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants and previously served as chairman of the Chapter’s Practitioners Committee and member of the Executive Committee.  In recognition of his service efforts with the Chapter, he was awarded the 2010 Volunteer Service Award.  In addition, Jim currently serves on the Board of the Veterans Health Foundation and is chairman of its Audit Committee.
